Strange and magnificent landscapes where land and sea are studded with pink granit rocks, indented by wind and waves over thousands of years. Along 13 km of coastline and 3 large beaches of fine sand, Perros Guirec enjoys a panoramic view of the 7 islands' archipelago, one of the major ornithological reserves in France.

HERITAGE

The Pink Granit Coast: extensive natural site, protected by the "Conservatoire du Littoral" and the town of Perros Guirec. The custom footpaths offer one of the best walks in the area: moors, gorse, heather, pink granit chaos over 20m high.

Maison du Littoral: exhibition on granit, fauna and flora. Guided visits.

The 7 islands' archipelago: France's most important reserve of migrating birds. Natural reserve since 1976 and undisputed kingdom of puffins, gannets, small penguins, in all, 13 different species for more than 20 000 bird couples...A colony of approximately 20 seals inhabit the islands. Excursions at sea from February to November.

Sculpture Park: Square Gad comprises twenty monumental sculptures carved in granit

Traouïero Valley: Enormous granitic chaos, botanical wealth of mosses and heathers. (guided visits).

Churches: Saint Jacques Church, Notre Dame de la Clarté Chapel, Saint Guirec Chapel, Kernivinen Chapel.

Wax Museum : Basse Bretagne history and traditions' Museum: period settings recreated with full décor and characters in 10 halls.

Marina: 720 wet moorings, 80 of which are reserved for passing boats

Ploumanac'h Marina: natural harbour counting 350 moorings of which 260 on buoys and 20 reserved for passing boats.

Comic strip Festival -22th and 23th April 2006:

Every spring a handful of passionate artists, such as local authors Jean-Charles Kraehn and Laurent Vicomte, invite a handful of authors, for example Fournier, Coyote, Giraud, Loisel, Fred, Jacques Martin... to take part in a week-end long Comic Strip Festival. Based on conviviality and accented by thematic exhibitions as varied as they are original, the festival offers young artists the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and make a name for themselves in the field.
