IDEAS FOR SPRING AND AUTUMN STAYS
- Sea kayak outing : discover the preserved coast of Cape Erquy with an instructor.
- 2005 Great tides : discovery of beach fishing, walking along Cape Erquy... Scallops are a gourmet's delight. It is during winter that the scallop fishermengo off to sea to fish in the Bay, 2 daysa week. Freshly caught, its taste is like no other.
- Fête de la Coquille St Jacques (scallop fest), 16 and 17 april 2005. A convivial weekend dedicaded to getting to know the famous shellfish : sea excursions, exhibitions and tasting events... in a festive musical atmosphere !
10 beaches of fine sand
Wide stretches or small coves allow safe bathing in total security. In summer, beach clubs for children, volley ball and the Cap Armor program of sports and cultural "a la carte" activities for everyone.
Sailing school
Offers courses and hire: sailboards, catamarans or dinghies, easily accessible to all. A sea kayak ride enables you to combine sport and nature discovery; speed sailing provides immediate sensations and the skin diving school will take you safely to the depths of the bay. Become a sailor just for one day onboard the Sainte Jeanne, traditional sailing ship, the emblem and pride of Erquy harbour; a unique experience to be shared by the whole family.

can satisfy their passion on the shores temporarily exposed by the ebb tide.

Erquy fishing port
with its old lighthouse and its flotilla of trawlers is picturesque ; the troll near the fish auction just as fish and scallops are being unloaded is a must.

Bienassis Castle and its wooded park are open to the public. Several hamlets within the commune harbour historical elements part of our heritage: chapels, cannonball ovens, guard rooms...
A lively market takes place all year round on Saturday mornings.

Your walking itineraries on Erquy Cape are full of surprises, renewed with each passing season: bathing in the clear waters of wild open beaches...impressive stretches of blooming heather in spring...the quietness of the vast natural stretches of coastline, only disturbed by the waves coming and going...fresh sea air and breathtaking sights all year round.
